Firm Registration Terms
Version 0.1 · Takes effect at public launch
These Firm Registration Terms apply when a private provider firm registers on FLPPR. They add to the FLPPR Terms of Service. If the two documents conflict on a firm's registration, these Firm Terms control. An authorized signer accepts them for the firm.
1. What the Platform Does for the Firm
The firm maintains one registration with its profile, roster, licenses, insurance, and documents. Every enrolled building department sees it and later changes instantly. FLPPR keeps delivery history. The firm must register separately with any department that is not enrolled.
2. The Firm Owns Data Truthfulness
The firm must keep its profile, roster, relationships, insurance, documents, and API submissions accurate and current. FLPPR can deliver a change only after the firm enters it. The firm remains responsible for the update deadline in section 553.791(4), Florida Statutes. FLPPR syncs state licensing data. The firm links each professional to the correct license and reports apparent errors. FLPPR calculates status from the available facts but does not make licensing decisions.
3. Roster Statement and E-Signature
Adding a professional or changing that person's relationship or role requires an authorized firm signer to sign the roster statement. When required, it confirms employee benefits for a duly authorized representative who performs inspections or names the supervisor of a provisional certificate holder. By signing, the signer consents to an electronic transaction and confirms their authority and the statement's truth. FLPPR records the statement, signer, date and time, IP address, and user agent.
4. Consequences of False Attestation
A false statement is a serious breach. Paradigm Labs may suspend the roster entry or registration, correct or withdraw information shown to enrolled building departments, end access, and report suspected unlawful conduct. The firm and signer remain responsible for legal consequences.
5. Insurance Records
The firm enters requested policy details and uploads its current certificate of insurance. This is the firm's attestation about its coverage. The firm must meet section 553.791(20), Florida Statutes, and decide whether coverage is sufficient for each project. FLPPR does not decide.
6. Document Upload Rules
The firm may upload insurance certificates and qualification statements. Do not upload sensitive personal information or license certificates. FLPPR creates license certificates from state licensing data. Paradigm Labs may remove a prohibited file.
7. API Keys
Keep API and MCP keys secret and revoke a compromised key. Activity under a key is the firm's activity and carries the same accuracy and signature duties as portal activity.
8. Multi-Firm Professionals
A professional may work with multiple firms. A firm sees only its own roster entries, restrictions, and signatures and may not seek another firm's private information.
9. Jurisdiction Exclusions
The firm must identify any department where a professional cannot provide services. FLPPR applies that exclusion. The firm remains responsible for knowing when it applies.
10. Leaving the Platform
The firm may close its account. Registrations already received remain in department history. FLPPR closes the registration and stops delivery, and the firm resumes direct registration duties. Paradigm Labs will provide an export on request. Signature and registration history may be retained.
11. Changes to These Firm Terms
Paradigm Labs will give firm administrators at least 30 days' notice before a material change takes effect. Continued use after that date means acceptance. Each version is archived.
12. Everything Else
The free-service terms, disclaimers, liability limit, governing law, and venue in the Terms of Service also apply. Questions and notices may be sent to:
